Jogging may have a cult following among fitness fanatics, but if you want to lose weight, jogging may not be the ideal kind of exercise, says London-based personal trainer Greg Brookes. Jogging is not the ideal exercise, because the more one runs, the more the body prepares itself for the next run.
The human body is a remarkable machine that has the ability to adapt to almost anything; including jogging.
The more you jog, the more efficient the body becomes at the activity – the body becomes more efficient and so there will be fewer calories burnt as the body adapts better and better to this physical activity.
In fact, in time, the body may even start to hold on to the fat, since fat is one of the body’s more favorite sources of energy.
Another reason why jogging is not to be recommended is that it is bad for the joints; since as much as two and a half times one’s body weight is transmitted through the joints.
While the perception is that any exercise will speed up the metabolism, this may not be true for jogging, according to Brooke, who is of the view that jogging could actually end up doing the opposite.

The Cell Phone Encryption Device is a hands free cell phone interface that enables you and another user who has the same encryption device to have a SECURE cell phone call without the possibility of someone else overhearing it. Using Military Grade encryption, the CPED will scramble your cell phone call so that anyone without your unique rolling code can’t hear anything.
To encrypt your conversation and scramble your phone call simply power up the device and make a phone call. The other user must have one of these CPEDs to ensure proper scrambling. Either user can press the encryption button and initiate the secure conversation. A series of tones can be heard and the other user presses their encryption button. A few seconds later you'll receive a blue light indication you are now conversing in private.

The Russian billionaire, Yuri Milner, has paid $100 million for a second home in California's Silicon Valley, in Los Altos Hills. According to the Wall Street Journal's Market Watch, March 30th, it is the highest known amount paid for a home in the United States.
This home is 25,500 square feet of living area, and was inspired by 18th-century French chateaux. It has 25,000 square feet of living space with five bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a central entry court, ballroom, home theater, wine cellar, spa/gym, a tennis court, car wash, swimming pool and formal gardens. The living areas are all located on the second floor to take advantage of the dramatic San Francisco Bay view. It was designed by the prestigious Hablinski and Manion Architectural & Planning Group.
Mr. Milner's primary residence is in Moscow, where he lives with his wife and two daughters, but he is a frequent visitor to the high-tech enclave in northern California.
The 47-year-old Internet tycoon appeared on the cover of the most recent issue of Forbes magazine and has invested heavily in Facebook, Zynga and Groupon through his investment firm DST Global. His company is said to control about 10 percent, or $5 billion worth, of Facebook's shares. He also has had positive dealings with the Russian online company Mail.ru.
The home was bought from another tycoon, Fred Chan, founder of ESS Technology, who has reportedly decided to live in Hawaii after building the Silicon Valley mansion.
Mr Milner reportedly made the transaction through a limited liability company called La Paloma Property. After years of relative market flatness, this sale has been seen as a sign that the market in high-end properties on the West Coast are becoming more, well, effervescent.
